Teen Driver Training

Teen driving education may begin when a person reaches the age of 15 and five months, before they are eligible to obtain a driving permit. at the age of 15 and six months a person my apply for a permit to start their in car training.

    Classes are held three evenings per week, beginning at 5:15 PM until 9:30 PM, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The class length is 12 hrs per week, taking two weeks to complete the 24 hours of classroom training that is required by the state of Ohio. The eight hours of in-car training will begin after the student has completed their 24 hours of classroom training, has passed a written test, and has a validated permit. The driving portion can be scheduled in 2 hour, 3 hour, or 4 hour increments, in order to accommodate the student and parents. The student will be picked up where ever necessary for the in-car portions.

A small down payment on $100.00 is all that is required to begin class. The balance is to be paid before the driving portion.

    A certification of completion will be issued at the end of the course.

Teen Remedial/Defensive driving course

The teen remedial is given to a teenager when he/she has received two moving violations under the age of 18. This is a 6 hour course required by the State of Ohio.

Adult Remedial/defensive driving course

This course is for the adult driver (18 years or older) that has lost their driving privileges for a 12 point suspension. If an adult has accumulated at least 2 points, but less than 12 points within a two year period, they may take this class to be granted a 2 point credit. A person can receive five two-point credits in their lifetime, however a remedial credit can only be granted within a three year period from the completion date of the last remedial credit.

ADULT TRAINING
FIRST TIME and/or REFRESHER

$60.00 per hour

Adult training is given on a one to one basis. The driving class's are given by gentle caring adults that will help reassure a person who is not comfortable behind the wheel of the car. These class's are given in accordance with the person's needs. Only the hours that are needed to help a person fulfill the need to learn to drive will be used.

An older adult that would like refresher courses just the help them to get back into driving after they have not been doing so for some time.
